Letters from Dr. Deupree's satisfied patients
Karen S.
After my retina specialist moved out of the area, I
searched extensively for a new doctor. I finally
found Dr. Deupree, and I couldn't be happier.
I chose Dr. Deupree for many reasons: 1) His
experience and reputation; 2) The technology he
utilizes is leading edge; 3) Dr. Deupree and his
entire team treat me as if I am their only patient
-- they are friendly, professional, and truly care
about me as a patient.
My insurance company has changed and Dr. Deupree is
not a provider on my plan. His staff offered to
refer me to a retina specialist on my plan and I
declined. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else,
and I happily write a check for my visits with Dr.
Deupree.

Dear Dr. Deupree,
I can't express strongly
enough the extent of my gratitude for your having
restored full, unclouded vision to my right eye.
After experiencing a
posterior vitreous detachment in the Fall of
2007, the sight in my right eye was limited due to
vitreous
floaters that appeared as thick clouds swirling
in my field of vision. It was disappointing to have
been told by two ophthalmologists near my home on
the east coast that there was nothing that could be
done to correct the problem and that I should just
learn to live with it. Although I attempted for over
a year to do just that, living with it meant a
constant preoccupation with the mass of debris
obscuring my vision. Many basic activities of life,
like reading, movies and driving, were robbed of
their enjoyment. Simply being out of doors on a
bright sunlight day was an annoyance due to the
intense ever-present glare.
I am grateful for all you've done to correct the
situation. I appreciate the time you took during our
initial consultation to educate me both on my
condition and on the
surgical
procedure that is available to correct it.
Having elected and undergone the surgery, the
results are nothing less than astounding. My
right-eye vision today is bright and sharp and, I'm
happy to note, 20/20!
You are truly a gifted
physician and surgeon!

The loss of vision from
macular degeneration is,
perhaps, one of the most traumatic experiences one
can have. Dr. Deupree saw me immediately after
being referred by my optometrist and I feel this
quick appointment & subsequent treatments
contributed to the restoration of a major part of my
vision.
During my treatments, I was treated with the utmost
kindness, reassurances and compassion. Not
only did I get answers to all my questions, I was
seen immediately when I had an emergency (real or
imagined!).
In addition to the expertise of Dr. Deupree, I
received attention from a wonderful and caring
office staff.
May God bless them all!

Dear Dr. Deupree:
I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated you
making time to see me...when I had a tear in my
retina. You have no idea how comforting it was
to be able to see you as soon as it happened.
And the fact that you were able to repair it right
away, was truly the hand of God working in my life.
I have told many of my friends of your consideration
and your compassion for my situation. You are
such a blessing!
Thank you again for caring!
Yours truly,
Lynda T.

Dr. Deupree:
Thank you so much for all you have done for me.
You truly are a gift from God and I give thanks to
you and God every night for a doctor like you to be
present for my injury. Although I've known you
for just this short time, you were an inspiration to
me.
Sincerely,
Aaron, M.

Dear Dana:
I wish to thank you especially for the excellent
care you provided to (my patient). I felt
quite helpless as I met him in the office while on
call over the Christmas holidays. He has been
a patient of mine for some time and I know things
have been rough for him...it has not been an easy
time for him, and the way you came through in
treatment was a blessing and you saved his vision.
It is a real privilege to know a professional who
does not ask, as a first question, "does he have
insurance". You were more interested in his
care and you are to be commended.
So, again, thanks for being a "good" person.
Sincerely yours,
Doctor B. |
